So, we picked Saturday, January 2nd to spend the day together and complete most of the journey. All that is remaining are their Take-Action projects which they have a good start on.
A little about the Journeys:
Each girl/troop is required to complete a Journey to be able to work on their awards. At the Junior level, Mikayla and Marie are able to work on the Bronze Award. The Bronze Award is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn In addition to the Journey, they each must complete 20 hours of work on the project of their choosing. They are allowed to pick their own project or work on one as a group. At the Senior level, Alyssa and Alex can work on their Gold Award. This award requires a completed Journey or two if they didn't achieve their Bronze and Silver Awards, and a minimum of 80 hours on their project. They must now select individual projects and find a project adviser to work with. While the Bronze Award must be earned as a Junior, the Gold can be earned anytime while in high school and either a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout.
Troop 3034 worked on the Agent of Change
Troop 3354 worked on the Girltopia Journey
